Hilary Menzies
I have lived in Scotland for most of my life and practised healing informally for as long as I can remember, only recently undergoing the official training offered by the Healing Trust and qualifying in 2024. I trained and practised originally as an Occupational Therapist, then worked as a nursery school assistant, ran a wine business, started my own textile business which I had for over 20 years (mostly using the fleeces from my own flock of Wensleydale sheep). I started flower farming in 2018. I am fascinated, amazed and inspired by the healing energies of nature and my garden has become an important part of the healing process for some of my clients. The act of healing is something that is very difficult to describe. I have no idea how or why it works, every time I perform the act of healing it is different, and the effect is different. What is important to me is to let the healing speak for itself, for it to flow wherever it is needed. It is a powerful process, made possible by complete trust in the process and acceptance of whatever comes. Without exception I have felt privileged and honoured by the trust my clients have placed in me and delighted by the results. Healing is available to all of us, we only need to ask. I offer the act of healing either in person at my home (accessible on the ground floor), remotely by video link or telephone, or distantly.
